My husband is 41 years old.we got a regular health checkup done where his sugar levels were normal.cholesterol total was 160 hdl 33 and ldl 120.He is regular with exercises and goes for jogs regularly.Has no history of high bp.His tmt said mildly positive.what does that mean
A stress test is a way to determine the effect of exercise on your heart function. if its positive that means, it show an abnormality in your heart rate, blood pressure and breathing while exercising, tho the method is not perfect. A positive TMT must be understood beside the overall clinical image and alternative risk factors like multiple disorder that includes high lipids, obesity, smoking etc. If the result's not clear alternative non invasive tests like Stress diagnostic procedure or stress atomic number 81 provide a lot of physiological info. These useful tests don't show the standing of coronary arteries and square measure positive if their is any blocks in coronary artery . Insignificant blocks, which might cause unexpected issues cannot be diagnosed by stress checks or the TMT test as you decision it. his HDL is very low. hdl is a good cholesterol and ldl is ideal , so i will advice to give him food products which are have high amount of hdl.
