What Does Missed Period With Negative UPT Indicate?
I had sex with my boyfriend around the 21st of May and then had a little bit of bleeding the 28th of May which stopped the same day. This worried me so I took a pregnancy test (first response, the one that says five days before your period)the 3rd of June which was supposed to be 3 days before my expected period. The test came out negative. But it is now the 7th so I am a day late from my expected period and is still hasn t come. Should I be worried? I have been getting white discharge, lower back pain and slight cramps which are my usual symptoms but I don t have the actual period. What should I do?
Hello and welcome to HCM, Urine pregnancy test comes out to be positive 10-14 days after conception or after sexual contact (if it is around ovulation). A negative pregnancy test rules out pregnancy for all practical purposes. White vaginal discharge, lower back ache and slight cramp are seen in pre-menstrual syndrome and thus you can wait for the onset of periods. A little delay in menstrual cycles can occur and is common in healthy menstruating women. Thus, you can wait fr periods and a negative urine pregnancy test rules out pregnancy.
