General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Tingling is due to altered nerve function. This is called peripheral neuropathy.

There are different possible causes such as: (1)vitamin b12 or folate deficiency
(2)diabetes
(3)trauma
(4)liver or kidney disease
(5)exposure to toxins
(6)side effect of medication
(7)stroke or multiple sclerosis
(8)some hormonal conditions
(9)idiopathic- cause not known

The blood tests should include checks for vitamin b12, folate, diabetes screen, liver and kidney function tests.

There are medications that can help with nerve related discomfort such as amitriptyline, tegretol, gabapentin, lyrica.

I hope this helps
