What Does My CT Scan Report Indicate?

I am post menopausal and when having a CT scan done thinking my diverticulitis was acting up, it was discovered that I have a 7mm cyst on my right ovary that is believed to have been causing my abdominal sx. There is a 3 generation hx of breast cancer on my maternal side. Should I be concerned?

Hello,

Your ovarian cyst size is only 7 mm.
Need not worry, if it is more than 5 cm only we can surgically remove.
This may not be the cause of your pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. C.ELANCHEZHIAN, General & Family Physician
