What Does My CT Scan Report Indicate?

I had a CT scan recently and Heterogeneity of the cervix is listed. It says it may be within normal ranges although a cervical lesion could not be excluded. Everything I research brings up cervical cancer. Can you provide more information? I will be contacting my doctor on Monday to see what she would like for me to do next.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
No need to worry much for heterogeneity of cervix.
Cervix is an organ which changes with hormone levels.
So some degree of heterogeneity is normal in cervix.
Better to get done PAP smear to remove fear of cancer. So whenever you meet your gynecologist, discuss about PAP smear.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
