What Does My CT Scan Report Indicate?

The reason I had a CT scan was that my gyn found blood in my urine and was concerned because of my history of a left ureter repair 13 yrs ago and just wanted to rule out the reason for my hematuria. The report says that I have a 3.0 cm cyst within the medial cortex of the left kidney. Also there is prominence of bilateral renal collecting systems. I feel pressure in my pelvic and back area. Sometimes even some pain.

Hello,

There may be an outlet obstruction. Cysts are age-related findings. You may need further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
