Hi Doctor, I have had slight chest pain from 2 weeks. So I got ECG done. The reading is as follows: SINUS RHYTHM LEFTWARD AXIS QRS(T) CONTOUR ABNORMALITY CONSIDER ANTEROLATERAL MYOCARDIAL DAMAGE T ABNORMALITY IN ANTERIOR LEA P: 19 deg QRS: -3 deg T : 6 deg Intervals RR: 844 ms P : 108 ms PQ: 148 ms PR: 140 ms QRS: 82 ms QT: 484 ms Qtc: 444 ms The cardiologist was away at the Hospital. So could not consult. In the interim, kindly advise what does this mean. Thank you so much in advance Cant pay online now as my card is at home.. and cant reach now...

Pulmonologist 's  Response
Hi,

Chest pain along with an abnormal ECG should not be taken lightly. ECG is suggestive of heart disease, whether fresh or otherwise. Please consult your cardiologist.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shashi Dangwal, Pulmonologist
