General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

HCV tests are a group of tests that are performed to detect, diagnose, and monitor the treatment of a hepatitis C viral infection.

The most common test for HCV looks for antibodies in the blood that are produced in response to an HCV infection.

If the HCV test of your husband is positive, I suggest doing this test too for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
