What Does My HIDA Scan Report Indicate?

RUQ pain x 1 and half years, negative US. Tired. Hidascan shows large photopenic area in right hepatic lobe. I don t ever drink alcohol. No DM. No high BP. Triglycerides normal. I am over weight. When I have my hair colored the last 4 times the coloring just runs down my face like I am hot or something.

The HIDA scan report suggests pathology in terms of benign or malignant pathology affecting right hepatic lobe.

A CT guided biopsy is best possible mean for the tissue diagnosis on pathology ground and treat accordingly only.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
