What Does My MRI Report Indicate?

I had an MRI of my cervical spine and found all sorts of things beyond the degenerative disc disease and syrinx they were wanting to see. One was a lesion on my thyroid that after having an ultrasound appears solid and needs biopsied on top of that the report said bone marrow us diffusely reduced in t1w signal and elevated on the fir sequence. Is it possible that these things are connected - like the lesion is cancer and has metastasized in the spine or am I getting all worked up for nothing?

Hello,

It could be a spinal degenerative legion and not cancer at all. Please discuss with your referring spine surgeon.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
