Welcome to health care magic.

1.There is a disc between the vertebral bodies helps as a shock absorber effect, the disc contains maximum percentage of water, due to degenerative changes when the water content / hydration is lost the disc slips / bulges.
2.In your case there is bulge at L4-5 causing pressure effect on the bilateral neural foramen and nerve root.
3.The normal curvature is lost due to the muscle strain caused by the pain due to the nerve compression.
4.In this case the treatment will be back exercise followed by the physiotherapy - in your case exercise will be enough.
5.In the last stage when not responding to the treatment, operative / interventional procedure id treatment of choice. Good luck.

Hope i have answered your query.
