What Does My MRI Scan Report Indicate?

Hello, This is Carmen and having left hip pain (all the time, during day and night) for almost 10 months and sometimes pain killers don t help. I should also mention that my work is based on a lot of activity, cleaner. The MRI says: There is no evidence of significant arthristis or synovitis. The musculotendinous structures are unremarkable. No bone marrow oedema is seen. There is slight heterogeneity to the bone marrow signal pattern seen on the T1-weighted images. This is probably due to normal variation however correlation with a blood film and haematological indices is advised. Thank you

this MRI report indicates no significant disease in the hip joint. no bone marrow ordema rule out any stress fracture or inflamation. as you mention no synovitis or arthritis. T1 heterogeneity with blood corelation is advised to look for bone marrow conversion. generally bone marrow of femoral head ion T1 W images show slight hyperintense , and T1 heterogeneity means conversion of yellow marrow to red marrow.
