What Does My MRI Scan Report Indicate?

My wife had a epidural injection in her neck. She had a bad reaction to it, excruciating pain, Paralys and MRI showed a blood clot on her spine. Emergency surgery was performed and she spent 2 weeks in hospital. The medicine was depomedrol. I have read a report to not use this in cervical injections. Is this correct? YYYY@YYYY

Hello,

Depo Medrol may be used for cervical injections, but there may be complications in cases of intramedullary injection.

So, I think it was a complication of the procedure that caused your wife's issues.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
