I got a PAP Smear done The result says: Smears examined are cellular and exhibit scattered squamous cells in a mildly neutrophilic background. Interpretation/Result : Mildly inflammatory cervical smears Advice: Clinico radiological correlation Please let me know what does this mean

Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Your pap smear suggests vaginal and cervical infection, for which you should take appropriate antibiotics for treatment.
Once the infection is cleared, the pap smear should be repeated to rule out any precancerous or cancerous lesions, as these are sometimes masked by infection.
