General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* Till the current PAP smear is concerned, it suggests inflammatory changes with no evidence of cancer at present.

However, at an age of 50 years with post menopausal spotting it is better to remain in extra cautious path and in my clinic, I do suggest a Cervical biopsy to confirm the absence of any pre cancerous lesion.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
