What Does My Pap Test Results For Cyst On Cervix Suggest?
Yes, hi.I had a Pap Test today and my doc found a pea size cyst at the opening of my cervix.He took some cells for testing and told me that these are almost always benign and not to worry. He said the results of the Pap will determine if anything needs to be done at all. So anything I have been reading confirms there is no need to worry. Do you agree as well?

Yes your doc right.
Most of the cyst in cervix usually benign in nature ex.nabothian cyst...
In papa smear scrapping from ectocervix and endocervix taken.
They are stained and examined for abnormal cells....
So if pap smear suggest ASCUS or CIN then need attention with regular follow up.
So let's watch for pap report....
If no abnormality comes and cyst needs to be removed then cyst can be removed....
