Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My X-Ray says: Prominent vascular markings are seen in bilateral lungs. Cardiac size is normal. Hila and mediastinum are unremarkable. Both domes of diaphragm are normal. Both cardiophrenic and costophrenic angles are normal. Bony thoracic cage appears normal. What does it mean?
Prominent vascular markings mean increased blood flow to the lungs. This might be a sign of bronchitis (respiratory infection), or a non-significant individual variation.
This has to be correlated clinically, whether other symptoms are present, such as cough or fever.
Otherwise, the report states normal findings of the heart, diaphragm, and thoracic cage.
Hope this answered your concerns clearly.
Thank you for choosing HCM. Regards.
