What Does My Abdominal Scan Indicate?

Hello dr, Have been trying for the past two years now. Went for an abdominal scan to check if I ovulate and the conditions of thev reproductive organs. Discovered I had a 20mm follicle on the 13th day of my cycle and the organs in good shape. Now,my question is,how long after that 13th day that the 20mm follicle was sighted can I ovulate or conceive? And can I develop adhesions following a ceasarean section? Thank you.

Welcome to health care magic.

1.If the organs are seen in normal shape and no abnormalities detected then i do not see any obvious pathology other than hormonal imbalance.
2.The follicle size measuring 20 mm is good criteria to conceive, once the follicle ruptured you need to participate in intercourse.
3.You need to further go through the follicular study to achieve the possibilities to conceive.
4.You need to monitor for two more times alternative days and see for free fluid in the pelvic region.
5.No not every women develops adhesions after section, if you have any suspicion / symptoms - you need to get good followup scans after pregnancy confirm for sequence of growth.

Good luck.
Hope i have answered your query,
