What Does My Arthroscopy Report Indicate?

I am having a arthroscopy done on both knees in August due to fall I had at work and I tripped. The orthopedic stated this surgery is a piece of cake and I will be walking around the next day and that I do not need a prescription for a home nurse to come by or an aide. I live alone and have never had any surgery in my life or broke a bone and quite frankly, my age 65 we people do not heal that quickly. He continued to brag how he does 25 a day and such a simple procedure. I am scared and told him he was minimizing the procedure for me and he stated he was a realist. What do you think?

Hi,

I understand your worries.

Usually, knee surgeries are not that scary.
However, to tell exactly what happens in your case, I need to have the full arthroscopy report to analyze myself.

It could be any torn ligament or meniscus, and related surgical repair are really easy with excellent outcome even in patients with your age.

Hope this helps.
