What Does My Beta-HCG Result Indicate?

Hi, I have gotten my beta-hcg results back and I m extremely worried. My first test showed that my hcg was 728 (this was 16 days past ovulation, so about 4w2d), and progesterone was 17.5 (a little lower than I expected but not a cause for concern). My second test (40 hours later), my beta-hcg was 1,050 and progesterone had dropped to 15. So the numbers did not double in 48 hours (closer to 76), and my progesterone dropped. These are both bad signs, correct? Should I be preparing myself for miscarriage?

Hi!
Welcome to HCM!

Get the ultrasound scan done!

As per the data given in your case, the findings associated with the serial hormone levels are suggestive of unhealthy pregnancy!
Since it is mentioned whether or not you had an ultrasound scan or not?

So, get the ultrasound scan done and consult the Obstetrician.
Regards!
