Hello,

Welcome to Health Care Magic. I went through your query and I understand your concern.

I want to start my answer, by clearing the normal blood pressure figures: systolic 100-139 mmHg and diastolic 60-89 mmHg. As we both conclude, you have slightly low blood pressure. I wonder if you also did a complete blood count test, in order to rule out anemia as possible cause of low BP.
Regarding your Thyroid Stimulating Hormone level, it is high. With such a presentation on my clinic, I would recommend you to perform thyroid function tests in order to define the origin of elevated level of this hormone, thyroxine (T4), and triiodothyronine (T3).
About your lipid profile, the normal values vary from laboratory to laboratory, but I want to separate just the level of Total Cholesterol and LDL as problematic. With these figures, combined with the age of 55, I would also recommend starting on a hydroxy-methyl glutaryl coenzyme A (HMG-CoA) reductase inhibitor (statin, such as atorvastatin, rosuvastatin etc.). In your case, I would recommend starting atorvastatin 20 mg x 1 tb/.
Beside that, I would strongly recommend to change your life style and diet. You should start eating healthy, food rich in fibre (green or dark green leafy vegetables and fruit), none or very little amounts of red or raw meat, more amounts of chicken, other poultry, fish, and alcohol up to a maximum of 30 g ethanol a day (i.e. two beers or a glass of wine). Also, physical activity, such as walking, brisk walking, light jogging, swimming etc., it very important in order to low your lipid level.

Hope I answered to your question. For further concerns, feel free to ask again.

Take Care,
Dr. Ina Zaimi
