General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi & Welcome to HCM.
I appreciate your concern for your beloved.

Incomplete data: Hemoglobin level, MCV, & MCHC levels are not given.

After having gone through the history and the lab results given in your query I am of the opinion that your daughter seems to be having Iron deficiency anemia.

The common causes of iron deficiency anemia include nutritional deficiency. A diet that does not have enough iron is the most common cause.
Inadequate intake during periods of rapid growth when more iron is needed.
It can also be related to lead poisoning which results from non nutritious substances such as clay, mud, wall paints, etc.
Hookworm infection or bleeding from the intestines can also be the cause.

She needs the following blood tests that measure iron level in the body which include serum ferritin, serum iron, & total iron binding capacity.
Stool analysis to detect bleeding and eggs of hookworm.
Treatment involves oral iron supplementation and if hookworm infection is confirmed she may need a course of antehelminthic like Albendazole or Mebendazole.

Do not give your child iron supplements or vitamins with iron without checking with your child's doctor.
The doctor will prescribe the right kind of supplement for your child. If your child takes too much iron, it can cause poisoning.

Beside the iron supplements, eating healthy foods is the most important way to prevent and treat iron deficiency.
Good sources of iron include: Apricots, meat, poultry, fish, liver, oat meals, & green leafy vegetables.

Hope I could answer your query.
