What Does My Blood Test Report Indicate?

I have gone to my local primary care doctor and he thinks I may have PMR, but after seeing the results of blood work, she d rate, as normal, he will not treat as that because he. Can t be 100percent sure. He has suggested I see my VV provider Dr Glazier. pmr is 100 percent pain I have felt for three months now, and no medicine to help me. YYYY@YYYY . Ray Steward7945

Polymyalgia rheumatica is a common cause of widespread aching and stiffness.
It may be hard to recognize as it does not often cause swollen joints.

Please get ESR and CRP blood levels done (if not already done), as they are often diagnostic.

If your doctor strongly suspects PMR, you will receive a trial of low-dose corticosteroids. The response to corticosteroids can be dramatic!!
