What Does My Blood Test Report Indicate?

Hi there Dr, I m a 39 female and I ve been trying to conceive for the 1st time for 7 mths, to investigate why it wasn t happening I went for fertility investigations. My blood test came back last week, and I was told by my Dr that my Progesterone no is 30, but that is just after taking Dyphuston for two weeks prior, my prolactin number is also very high at 481. I m not on any medications nor do I smoke or take drugs of any kind. My Dr has tested again, to be sure, so I ll know the results soon. Can you tell me how this has happened and is the reason I have this, due to tumours on my pitutary. Are low progesterone and high Prolactin connected? What can I do to help reduce it naturally

Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

The increased prolactin levels may be related to the pituitary tumour you are having. You may need to treat it with drugs or surgery may be a better solution. You have to treat it as soon as possible to restore fertility issue.

Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
