What Does My Blood Test Report Indicate?

My blood reports show high serum uric acid (8.6), and S.Triglycerides (572). All other indicators are in normal range (Random Blood sugar 98, Blood urea 21, S. cholesterol 171, alkaline phosphate 169, SGPT 31, S. bilirubin 0.4, S. creatinine 0.9). I have no symptomatic problem at the moment. What may be the possible reason of high s.uric acid, and S. triglycerides? Do I need any medication?

Hello,

High uric acid without any symptoms (no arthritis due to gout) does not need any treatment. On the other hand, your triglycerides are quite high and you will need treatment for this. Medications that lower triglycerides can be prescribed by your doctor and you will need to be followed up with blood tests in a few months to make sure your triglycerides are going down.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
