General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear. welcome to HealthCareMagic. thanks for joining us here. I have understood your questions and worries.

a. your cholesterol serum level is high (263)
- normal : - borderline high : 200 - 239 mg/dl
- high: > 240 mg/dl --> at risk of cardiovascular disease.

b. triglycerides level is borderline high (193).
- normal : - borderline high : 150 - 199 mg/dl
- high : 200 - 499 mg/dl
- very high : > 500 mg/dl

c. your bilirubin serum is slightly above the normal range (1.5)
The reference range of total bilirubin is 0.2-1.2 mg/dL.
The reference range of direct bilirubin is 0.1-0.4 mg/dL.
note: Normal value ranges may vary slightly among different laboratories.

d. SGOT/ AST is slightly high (51)
the normal range of SGOT: 3-45 u/L

e. SGPT/ ALT is high (83)
the normal range of SGPT: 0-35 u/L.

based on your blood results above, it may show us the possibility of liver disorder and hypercholesterolemia/dislipidemia. I suggest you to modify your lifestyle. The good news is that lifestyle changes are effective in helping you reduce cholesterol levels. here some tips for reducing cholesterol and Triglyceride level:
1. Exercise: Physical activity helps you lose weight and boosts your HDL levels. Aim for 30 to 60 minutes a day of moderate cardio.
2. Eat more fiber: Replace white breads and pastas with whole grains.
3. Eat healthy fats: Olive oil, avocado, and nuts all have fats that won’t raise your LDL.
4. Limit cholesterol intake: Reduce the amount of high-saturated fat foods like cheese, whole milk, and high-fat red meats.
5. Quit smoking.

for your liver problem, better you contact your treating doctor. you may need another specific examination such as liver USG and whole abdomen USG, blood test for liver function test (albumin, hepatitis test etc) based on your symptom and physical condition. you may given hepatprotector supplement such as curcuma to help maintaining your liver health, and please avoid alcohol.

I hope these can clarify your concerns. if there's anything else you need to know, feel free to discuss it with me in HCM. take care.

regards,
dr. Asti Yuliadha
