Could you please tell me what this means and what exams/tests/procedures should follow? (Female 48 yrs, breast cancer - bilateral mastectomy (2014/2015) survivor on Tamoxifen for 8 years. Idiopathic thrombocytopenia since 2008.) MRI study of the brain: Cerebrum: Normal bilateral hippocampi. No intracranial mass or intracerebral hemorrhage is detected. Brainstem: Within normal limits Cerebellum: Within normal limits Ventricles and CSF spaces: Normal for age Cerebellopontine angles and internal auditory canals: Within normal limits Vasculature: Patent flow voids at the level of the circle of Willis Pituitary and parasellar structures: Flattened appearance of the pituitary Orbits: Blunting of the posterior globes with prominent CSF in the bilateral optic nerve sheaths and mild tortuosity of the bilateral optic nerve sheaths Mastoids/temporal bones: Within normal limits Craniocervical junction: Within normal limits Paranasal sinuses: Moderate retention cyst in the left maxillary sinus. Mild mucosal thickening in the bilateral maxillary sinuses
