General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi & Welcome.

The breast ultrasound report with BI-RADS category 3 is suggestive of a tumor called fibroadenoma.

It is a benign (non-cancerous tumor) in the breast that is commonly found in women under the age of 30 years.

You are advised to consult your treating doctor;

1. If it alters the natural shape of your breast,
2. If you have family history of cancer
3. If it causes pain.
4. If its size increases
A fine needle aspiration or biopsy may be performed to remove tissue for testing.

Hope this answers your query.
