What Does My Chest X-ray Test Report Indicate?

My chest xray says Mild Hyperaeration. Heart is normal size. Lungs are mildly hyperaerated but clear. No effusion is seen. I am a non-smoker. I take, since 2003, Methotrexate (injected) for Dermatomyositis. Can this cause hyperaeration. What is the treatment and the out come?

Welcome to HCM,As per your query, Hyper-aerated lungs lungs in simple language means that are filled with more than normal air. Hyperaerated lungs is a sign that can be due to COPD(chronic obstructive pulmonary disease)/asthma. It can be due to side effect of methotrexate drug.
so u should visit a lung specialist(pulmonologist)

Hope your query is solved
