What Does My Colonoscopy Report Indicate?

I had a colonoscopy about 2 months ago. About a week after I began to have pain in my prostate followed by swelling in my testicles. I saw my doctor who did I a urine test to see if I had an infection but pronouns it clear. He did treat me with a two week xpcourse of doxycycline. I cannot say it helped. I then saw another doctor a week after that treatment who gave me another two eek course of an antibiotic. It helped quite a bit but once finished the symptoms returned. I have now gone back a third time and been placed upon another two weeks of Cipro. I am concerned because I am still having dull pain in my prostate. My swelling has gone down but the pain persists. None of this was present before the colonoscopy and I wonder if something might have occurred during that procedure to cause this? Quite frankly I am tired of dealing with this issue.

Hi,

Sorry to say, but there is no mentioning of colonoscopy report here to comment further.

As far as swelling testicles and prostate pain are concerned, prostatic massage fluid culture and high-resolution ultrasound are essential for managing it wisely.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
General Surgeon
