Hello ma'am and welcome.

The color Doppler is an investigation that helps to observe the circulation of blood and does not provide any information on the growth and development of the fetus. If there has been an intrauterine growth retardation for which the Doppler was suggested, then the blood circulation could indicate why there is a retardation (i.e. due to lack of adequate nutrition).

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
