Hi. My name is arlene. I have six months of vagunal discharge and bleeding. Experiencing extreme pelvic and lower back pain too.and my cytology test report says. SECTIONS FROM CERVIX SHOW ENDOCERVICAL TISSUES LINED BY STRATIFIED SQUAMOUS EPITHELIAL CELLS CHARACTERIZDX BY MILD NUCLEAR ATYPIA AND HYPERCHROMATISM WITH KOILOCYTIC CHANGES.DENSE INFILTRATION OF LYMPHOPLASMACYTIC CELLS. what does it means?
The report is suggestive of mild hint of abnormal cells presence which can be malignant or neoplastic however correlation with CT pelvis, and detailed gynecologist review is needed. Surgical excision or hysterectomy may be needed if suggestive of any tendency of malignancy.
