General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear Patient, for the hyperacidity you need to take some "ppi medication" like pantoprazole for at least several months. However it wont necessarily get cured by it, only reduced. After stopping the medication it may come back after a while. Same goes for the thyronorm. The Thyroid substitution is usually an ongoing therapy, and the right dosage should be tested by the "TSH" hormone and ft3 ft4 in the blood approx. every 6 months to reevaluate the right dosage. All the best and kind regards
