What Does My Gynaecologic Ultrasound Scan Indicate?
I have adinomyosis and two ibroids of 4.9 cms and 3.2cms intramural. my doctor recomeded to remove the uterous. But iam not willing to remove uterous. because I am 49years old naturally it is menaoupouse. One year before I got dnc biopsy taken there is no cancer symptoms.15th April doctor suggested to take 3D SCAN . The scan result is Bulky uterous with features of adenomyosis. Uterine fibroids. Thickened endometrium. Please doctor tell me any chance to save my uterus. or only remidy is operation.

Based on the ultrasound report findings, your condition with adenomyosis and fibroids are definitive indication for removal of uterus by means of operation. Although it might not be causing much problems as of now and it is noncancerous, it may cause certain problems in near future in the form of uncontrolled bleeding, adhesions and so on. Hence, it would be advisable for you to plan for removal of uterus at the earliest as suggested by your doctor, as there are no other alternative for it.
