What Does My Lab Scan Test Report Indicate?

MY MOTHER IS SUFFERING FROM STOMACH PAINS. SHE TOOK A LABORATORY SCAN WHICH SHOWS: LIVER- SOME TWO PARENCHYMAL MASSES NOTED. THEY MEASURE 6.0 BY 5.1 Cm AND 4.6 BY 7.5 Cm AND LOCATED IN THE MID PARENCHYMA AND DIAPHRAGMATIC REGIONS RESPECTIVELY.THE LIVER SIZE IS NORMAL. BOTH KIDNEYS- ONE OF NORMAL SIZE AND CORTICOMEDULLARY DIFFERENTIATION.OTHER COMENTS- AN ILLDEFINED MASS MEASUREING 8.50 BY 4.90 Cm IS SEEN IN THE EPEGASTRUM AT THE LEVEL OF THE DUODENAL CUP. THE DOCTOR SAYS NO TREATMENT FOR IT. SHE IS TO LIVE WITH IT.

Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, abdomen pain is not correlated with the finding but in my opinion CT and MRI would be advisable, routine blood test, stool examination and other investigation may be advisable to rule out the underlying cause of abdominal pain till the it can be managed with "Tab Clinidium with Chlordiazepoxide three times in day, hope this information helps, take care.
