Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi dear,

Can you mention her symptoms and why a scanning was ordered?

The report says, there is increased echogenicity(a variation from normal ultrasound appearance) of inner part of kidney on both sides. This is non specific finding which can be caused by many conditions like nephro calcinosis(calcium deposits in kidney), many other metabolic disorders or changes in renal blood circulation.

Otherwise both kidneys are normal.

Kindly discuss with your doctor, as the report is to be interpreted on the back ground of clinical details

Hope I have answered your query
