What Does My Lab Test Report Indicate?

Sir, Pls give me an advise what to do. I am 48 yr old. male. Name BaBURAJ RIGT KIDNEY; CALCULUS 4.6MM IN LOVER POLE CALYX LEFT KIDNEY;CALCULUS 4.4MM IN UPPER POLE CALYX.MILD HYDRO NEPHROSIS WITH DILATED URETER. CALCULUS 7-8MMIN LEFT VUJ USG report has the following impression; OBSTRUCTIVE LEFT VUJ CALCULUS CAUSING MILD PROXIMAL HYDRO URETERO NEPROSIS. BILATERAL RENAL CALCULUS.

Thanks for writing in HCM.
The report of ultrasound kidneys what you have shared indicates that you have kidney stones in both the kidneys. Within the kidneys, it is quite big of almost 4.5 mm on both sides. On the left side, there us a still bigger stone of 7 - 8 mm, which is causing obstruction to the outflow of urine.
Hence, due to the presence of these stones, there is mild enlargement of kidneys and its dysfunction also has started.
Since the stones are multiple and causing dysfunction of kidneys, you need to get all these stones removed by means of 'lithotripsy' at tue earliest to avoid complications arising out of it. Kindly consult Urologist for proper management in this regard.
