I have lab reports indicating liver problems. My Hep tests are normal, I have generalized and partial complex epilepsy, but my nuerologist states that I am not taking any epilepsy control meds that affect liver function. I have diabetes type 2, and pernicious anemia, along with D and other deficiency and malabsorption issues. My results are indicating some bad numbers, and I feel that I am not getting answers. EGFR - 9.4 Calculated serum osmalality - 305 Globulin -3.6 Alb/glob ratio- 0.9 ASGOT/AST -51 SGPT/ALT- 75 A1c-8.5, was 6.0 3 months prior No diet change, no medication change other than increasing my lantus because of glucose increase. Was being prescribed D2, but I stopped the RX after research showing D3 should be taken instead because of toxicity. But has been stopped for 3 months. D levels have consistently remained low even with either types of D. I was wondering what the combination of these liver results indicate, as I consistently see liver disease when researching separately. I m trying not to get upset over these results, or what I think they may indicate, but I am not getting answers from my primary Doctor, or my nuerologist. I have stopped all supliments because my nuerologist feels they could be the issue, yet D is the only one not water soluble, and it continues to be low.
