What Does My Lab Test Report Indicate?

Hi, I am a 48, male, and and endurance cyclist. I get dizzy for a few moments standing up periodically and tired mid day a few times a week. I had a blood test and cholesterol test recently that checked out good. I did have high LDL and high HDL so I was told to take 81mg of Aspirin. Thanks.

welcome to health care magic,
Sir, HDL is good cholestrol and LDL is the bad cholesterol for our body. Our body require more of good cholesterol than the bad one. Elevated level of usually mark towards some heart related condition but they are not very conclusive as it make coagulate the blood. You have been prescribed Aspirin because it a blood thinner which will ensure free flow and not lead to formation of thrombus(clot) protecting you from heart attacks. I would reccomend you take cholesterol free diets, low salt, and more fibre containing substances in your diet. If you have any addiction, please do stop. You can take medications like atorvastatin.
As you are a cyclist if would recommend you to make a packet of 3 drugs (aspirin + sorbitrate(sublingual) + atorvastatin) and keep it in your chest pocket forever , if you ever develop symptoms like chest pain , rt shoulder pain and breathlessness. make sure you take these medications immediately.
