What Does My Liver Function Test Report Indicate?

My liver enzyme levels are SGOT/AST Is at 63 and my SGPT/ALT LEVEL IS 115 any suggestions as to why the are so high? I have lost 20lbs over the past few months and my appetite has decreased. I am a moderate drinker and as of a couple weeks a ago stopped taking Tylenol . Any suggestions ?

Hello. I have gone through your question. SGOT/PT are the liver enzymes and they get raised whenever there is liver damage. The damage to the liver can come from viruses, such as the hepatitis C virus, some drugs such as Tylenol. It can get raised by drinking alcohol as well. I would suggest you to to stop drinking and get Viral markers and S. bilirubin done. Follow me up with these reports for further evaluation of your condition. Thanks and Regards.
