What Does My Semen Analysis Finding Below Indicate?
Respected madam,
My name is Surendranath, i married with Rupali jain on 7th August 2009.We tried for child for last six months but we didn't get. I did recently my semen analysis. Report is as follows...
Volume : 5.4 ml
Colour: pearly white
Odour : seminal
pH : Alkaline
Liquefaction time : 30 min
Motility:
Progressive : 80%
non progres: 05%
non motile : 15%
TOTAL COUNT: 10.8 millions/ml.
Morphology : Smear shows many spermatozoa with normal morphology.Few show swolen heads.
Impression : Oligospermia.
Please suggest me to increase my sperm count like what type of food i have to take and what tablets i can take to increase my sperm count.

Looking to your profile
You got low sperm count as normal sperm count is more than 20 millions/ml,
But your sperms have normal motility and sufficient normal morphology.
I think you should have repeat your semen analysis after adequate interval with 3 days abstinence.
Also suggesting you to exclude few of the causes of low sperm count like,
-Ejaculation problem like retrograde ejaculation,
-Infections,
-Varicocele,
-Hormonal imbalance like of thyroid/adrenal,
-Any antibiotics or antifungal treatment.
Just repeat and exclude few causes.
one important plus point is sperm morphology and motility is fairly good.
