What Does My Semen Analysis Report Indicate?
Hello Doctor, I just got my Semen analysis report. Im a bit scared seeing liquefaction time. Liquefaction time- 40mins, I found many websites saying 20-30 min is Normal. Rest parameters are: Vol- 4.0 ml consistency- viscid color- greyish white coagulum/mucus/pus/blood- absent pH- alk count- 22 mil/ml motility: progressive fwd movement- 60% Moderate movement- 25% Non motile- 15% Morphology: Normal- 96% Abnormal- 04% Abnormality include: Micro bending pin sac like long Pus cell: 10-12/ hpf epithelial cell: 1-2/hpf Pls reply if this is normal. Do I need to take medicines? If I have any disorders, is it curable?

Compare your semen analysis with normal semen analysis:
Liquefaction time: 20.-30 minutes__________40__slight high
Quantity: 2-6 ml________________4_____normal
Color: greyish white_____________normal
Alkaline pH:=>7.2_______________alkaline_____normal
Sperm concentartion: > 20-150 million/ml_______22____normal
Total motility:40% or more_____________85%___normal
Progressive motility:32% or more_________60%___normal
Morphology: > 4 %______________92% ____normal
Pus cell: up to 5/hpf______________10-12 __infections
High pus cell suggests infection in prostate, urinary tract and sexual gland.
I would suggest to consult the urologist and undergo semen and urine culture and USG of pelvis.
Your high liquifaction time is due to the infection only.
Also go for post coital test after cure of infection
Doctor will provide the antibiotic for infection
Avoid stress, do regular exercise like walking and yoga, take healthy diet (high protein diet) with fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables.
