What Does My Semen Analysis Test Report Indicate?

Volume-2.0,colour-greyish white, reaction-alkaline,viscosity-normal, liquifaction time-30 minutes, fructose- present, aggulation - present, total sperm count -90 millions/ml, progressive motility-20%, slow progressive motility - 30%, non progressive motility 30%, non motile- 20%, morphology normal forms -70%, abnormal forms -30%, other findings pus cells -0-1/hpf, epithelial cells -o-2/hpf, spermatogenic cells - not seen

Hello

Mentioned semen analysis may indicate normal findings.

Motility is normal.Normally it should be at least 55 %.Your findings suggests 80% motility,so it is normal.

Sperm count is also normal.Normally it should be at least 20 millions/ml.Your findings suggests 90 millions/ml,so it is normal.

Morphology of normal sperms are also normal.Only 16% normal morphology sperms are required for natural fertilization.

Other factors like volume,consistency etc are also normal.
Positive fructose test is a normal finding.
Occasional pus cells is acceptable.

In short,findings are normal.
