Hello,

I am sorry, you sperm count in on lower side (Oligozoospermia). Sperms are present, however for some reason their ability to move and fertilize may be reduced.

The viscosity is increased. Normally, the viscosity should not be like that or it will not liquefy within 20–30 min. The liquefaction is prolonged. The viscosity and liquefaction issue can physically trap sperm and lower their motility. Morphology is normal but pus cells are found, so there is probability of infection/inflammation.

Your semen analysis suggests low count and motility, possibly due to infection, inflammation, or lifestyle causes, not permanent infertility. However, sometimes prolonged abstinence before the test can also show such reports. You are encouraged to be sexually active if you are married and preparing for a baby.

With treatment and care, many men see significant improvement within 3–6 months. Avoid heat exposure to your private area. Stay away from stress, both physical and emotional and avoid wearing tight clothing. Eat foods rich in zinc (pumpkin seeds, legumes), antioxidants, fruits, and omega-3s. Stay hydrated and manage stress.

To improve motility and count you are advised to take Coenzyme Q10, L-carnitine, zinc, selenium, vitamin E, folic acid supplements. Get clinically examined by a urologist and get your hormone tested to check testosterone, FSH/LH, and thyroid issues. The urologist will check for any infection or inflammation of the prostate, seminal vesicles, or epididymis. You will be accordingly treated.

Get semen culture and urine culture test done. If it shows bacteria. Antibiotics can help improve viscosity and motility. Oligozoospermia is treatable, take high protein diet. Maintain healthy weight, do not get overweight. Do regular exercise.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
