What Does My Sperm Analysis Report Suggest?


Sperm report shows sperm count, motility, rapid progression, non linear progression. Normal report?
My husband s age is 36yrs.My husband s semen analysis report shows he has sperm total count of 07 mill/ml, live count -04 mill/ml, sperm per ejaculation14 mill. Motility %motile sperm is 29%. Rapid linear progression 01%. Slow/non lin progression is 39%. Non progression is 60%. Sperm morphology...

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

Your husband's semen analysis report suggests decreased sperm count and motility.
He need few more investigations like routine hemogram,RBS,Ultrasound of pelvis should be done.Trans rectal sonography of prostate can be done if needed.
Hormonal assay should also be done.
For improving sperm count and motility he should do exercise and take nutritious food.He can take bananas,pomegranate,garlic,amino acid like L-carnitine,walnut etc.
He should avoid tight underpants.
Proper treatment depend upon findings.
