What Does My Thyroid Report Indicate?

Tsh is 7.218 and free t3 is 2.4; free t4 is 0.92. Over a year ago, I was diagnosed with transient thyroidtoxicosis, resulting from an inflamed thyroid caused by a viral infection. Thyroid levels have improved without any medication. Started out as hyperthyroid. levels are still slightly abnormal. I do not take any medication as the endro I am seeing believes they will become normal on their own. But I am concerned because it has been over a year. I do not have any symptoms of hypothyroidism, but I do feel anxious and nervous which could be a result of the stress over the lab results not being normal, I have been getting lab test every 3 months.

hello, Dr.boskey gandhi is here, in your report ft3,ft4, both are just normal, but tsh is little bit high, so u are in category of subclinical hypothyroidism. in this situation, u should regularly follow up your tsh &ft4,&tt3 level atleast every 3months, & if it will worsen the previous report, u should start treatment. & meanwhile go for yoga & meditation. because it improve thyroid hormones level if doing with proper way. so good luck. ....
