Hello,
In the current scenario, there is a concern about a missed pregnancy. You should get serial estimations of serum beta-hCG titres as a single recording is not sufficient to assess the progress of the pregnancy. Doubling titres every 2-3 days is indicative of good progress even though the initial titres may not correspond to the period of pregnancy. The sonogram should preferably be done in the trans-vaginal route. As long as the fetus is viable, there is hope and so, please do not worry. Take adequate rest, healthy diet and adequate liquids. Hope this helps.
