General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Definitely, your reports of ultrasound, blood and urine are clearly pointing to some kidney pathology. In my opinion, to reach at a final diagnosis of the disease, particularly with regards to cause, extent of the disease and prognosis. Biopsy seems like the next necessary investigation. Of course, other tests like CT Scan, MRI or IVP may be helpful in diagnosing and planning of treatment but these seem only complimentary and not a complete substitute for biopsy.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
