Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have yet to see a doctor, my work schedule is constantly changing. Back in February, I went to the emergency room for lower abdomen pains. They came on quickly and lasted for five minutes or so. The started around November or so. I explained that in February of 2016, I had my son and still have not started my period. The doctor did an ultrasound and told me that I was pregnant, but didn t explain my pain. I continued working, even through my pains, but I became worried. I should feel movement and should be showing slightly. I still hurt, but I feel the my womb isn t growing. I pick up my son and I feel as though my abdomen has ripped from top to bottom. I believe I may have miscarried but am not sure. I m making an appointment to see the gynecologist as soon as possible but feel I need some insight before I go.
Abortion may lead you in some bleeding but not so. This may be normal abdominal cramps during pregnancy. Do repeat an ultrasound again and then the gynecologist opinion.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
