Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had my first ultrasound yesterday and they said that the sac implanted in a bad place and that it was life threatening. They said normally they implant in the center, but this implanted on the side. That was all they would tell me. Why would it being on the side be bad?
Hi I think you are having an ectopic pregnancy. In this pregnancy sac doesn't implant in uterus but in tubes or ovary. So, there is a chance of rupture of sac as there is no space for fetid to grow. So, it should be managed immediately medically or surgically according to the situation. Follow the advice of your doctor. Hope it helps.
